“Brand identity design” is one of the things we’re asked for most — and one of the most misunderstood. Many people think identity = logo. The logo is only a small part of it, and the difference between the two is the difference between a sign on the door and a well-organized store inside.
In this guide: what a visual identity is actually made of, what it costs in the Saudi market, when you need it and when it’s too early, and how to judge the quality of the work before you pay.
What does a visual identity include?
A complete identity isn’t a single file — it’s a system that keeps your brand consistent everywhere a customer sees it:
- The logo in its different versions: horizontal, square, icon, and white for dark backgrounds
- A color system with exact codes for print and screens
- Typography for headings and body text, in Arabic and English
- Supporting visual elements: patterns, icons, photo treatment style
- Applications: business card, letterhead, email signature, social media templates
- A brand guide explaining the do’s and don’ts — the part that protects the identity from being distorted later
A logo without a usage guide means everyone who designs for you afterwards will improvise — and a year later your brand becomes five different brands.
How much does brand identity design cost in Saudi Arabia?
| Level | What you get | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Logo only | Logo file in different formats, no guide | SAR 300 – 1,500 |
| Complete identity + company profile | Logo, colors, typography, guide, profile in PDF & PPT | From SAR 1,000 with us |
| Complete identity (market average) | Roughly the same scope | SAR 2,000 – 6,000 |
| Large-company identity | Market research, positioning, extended systems | SAR 10,000 – 40,000 |
Our package includes: an original logo design, a brand guide, a professional company profile in PDF and PPT, and open revisions until you reach the result you want. See the full package.
Why is our price lower? Because we’re a small Saudi team that works flexibly without large overheads. The difference is in cost, not in the result.
Why a logo alone isn’t enough
Imagine you only received a logo. A month later you need an Instagram post: which color do you use? Which font? Where does the logo go? Then you need a business card, then a presentation for a client. Each time, a different person improvises in a different way.
The result: a brand nobody remembers. And being remembered is the whole point of an identity. The guide is what turns a logo from an image into a system.
When you need a visual identity — and when it’s too early
You need it now if:
- You’re launching a new business and want a professional first impression
- You deal with corporate (B2B) clients who judge you by your company profile before meeting you
- Your current designs are inconsistent and every post looks like it’s from a different company
- You’ll be entering tenders or need an official company profile
It can wait if:
- You’re still testing the idea and haven’t settled on the business name or audience
- Your budget is limited and the priority is a website or product that brings in revenue first
In the second case: start with a simple logo and a two-color system, then complete the identity once the business is stable. The key is not to pay twice.
How to judge identity quality before you pay
- Ask to see a complete previous brand guide — not just logo images. The guide reveals the thinking behind the design.
- Make sure the logo works at small sizes — if it can’t be read as an app icon or profile picture, the design is incomplete.
- Ask about the single-color version — every good logo should work in black and white.
- Ask for source files — AI or SVG, not just PNG images. Without them you can’t enlarge the logo for signage or print.
- Check Arabic support — many identities are designed in English and then “translated” with a random font. The Arabic version should be designed, not translated.
Frequently asked questions
How long does an identity take?
7 to 14 working days for a complete identity with a company profile, depending on how quickly feedback comes in and the visual direction is agreed.
Do I get the source files?
Yes, you receive all source files and fully own them — you can hand them to any designer later without needing to come back to us.
How many revisions?
Revisions are open in our package until you reach the result you want.
Do you design both Arabic and English versions?
Yes, and each version is designed separately rather than machine-translated, so the visual balance holds in both languages.
What’s the difference between an identity and a company profile?
The identity is the visual system itself. The company profile is a document that uses that system to present your business, services and work to clients. Our package includes both.
